SMP TRAINING

This course is a comprehensive hybrid training of scalp pigmentation. We will address both sides of the industry- Scalp Micropigmentation and Tricopigmentation and the benefits and applications for both. There will be a strong medical science foundation to our process and technique. We are the only training in the world that offers this unique hybrid training.

Learn to treat ALL scenarios ie. short and long hair density fills for all skin types and genders, buzzed/bald heads and transplant scar camouflage. You will learn to draw hairlines and create the appearance of a fade. We have a demonstration table of several different machines and needles and ensure that you understand the fundamentals of each, when to use which machine/needle and why.

Become familiar with basic color theory and the difference between organic, inorganic, iron oxide, carbon and tricopigmentation inks/pigments. You’ll participate in mock consultations to prepare you for real life scenarios outside of class. Practice proper tray/station setup and cleanup following all Blood Borne Pathogen and Cross Contamination guidelines. Review and discuss client intake forms and aftercare agreement.

We will not limit you to any one needle, pigment, or brand, we believe it is important to know many methods and sciences behind theory and techniques. Again, our training will get you familiar and comfortable with many devices- from traditional tattoo machines to digital devices. When you know the HOW and WHY your technique works your work will speak for itself.

Enrollment fee is $3,800 per person. Price includes a scalp color theory webinar, a needle theory webinar, certification, and a starter kit (inks, needles, aftercare and more)- but does NOT include a machine. We have machines available at a discount for students. Reason we do not include a machine is because we want to teach you on multiple machines so you can decide for yourself what you want to purchase. We have a variety of digital and rotary devices. The class is one full day from home on your computer (a live interactive webinar) and three days in person hands-on a week later. This way you get introduced to the subject and are able to learn and study before jumping into hands on class.

We want our students to become the BEST artist and business operator they can be. You will receive loads of resources and references in class so you can continue your growth. Cosmetic Aesthetics training offers continued support after you graduate. You have full access to your trainer to answer any questions you may have! Our students are constantly sending pictures, asking just some guidance on pigment choices, to critique work, help with quoting prices, we are here for ANYTHING.

Cosmetic Aesthetics started out over 10 years ago in the scalp industry running the first two locations for one of the now largest SMP companies in the world. After some time we realized that we needed to seek out a medical and scientific explanation to the procedures that we were doing. After much research, traveling worldwide for classes in advanced treatments and color theory- and training directly with world renowned artist Toni Belfatto – we developed an in-depth understanding of Scalp Micropigmentation and Scalp Tricopigmentation.
