WHAT IS AREOLA REPIGMENTATION?
Unfortunately breast cancer survivors must make a difficult decision to remove their areolas and nipples when undergoing a mastectomy or breast reconstruction due to breast cancer. A natural looking, 3D nipple can be achieved through areola tattooing (or repigmentation). As this is a delicate and intricate procedure, our lead artist Taryn Quinterri will always perform this procedure herself. She fights insurance to cover the procedure but it often doesn’t happen unfortunately due to our greedy healthcare industry. Consultations are necessary.
