WHAT IS AREOLA REPIGMENTATION?
Unfortunately breast cancer survivors must make a difficult decision to remove their areolas and nipples when undergoing a mastectomy or breast reconstruction due to breast cancer. A natural looking, 3D nipple can be achieved through areola tattooing (or repigmentation). As this is a delicate and intricate procedure, our lead artist Taryn Quinterri will always perform this procedure herself. Taryn works with a program that covers areola restorative tattooing with health insurance. Please reach out to us for paperwork to see if you can get approved by insurance to cover the procedure.
